What is the difference between sliding and folding doors?

Sliding doors use large panes that move sideways on a track and stack neatly behind each other, giving you slim sightlines and wide views when closed. Slide folding doors have multiple leaves that concertina to one or both sides, creating a very wide opening that helps bring the outside in. We can talk you through which option best suits your room layout and space.

Hallmark composite doors combine a rigid subframe, dense insulated core and GRP skin, and are designed to meet PAS 24:2016 and Secured by Design requirements when installed as a full doorset.
